It's started arriving.  Friend of mine got his this afternoon.  I've asked him for a list of where the other tracks come from.  :)

I received mine yesterday too. It is fantastic!!. Artwork is very nice. Recordings are great. I think people try harder to criticize releases than simply thank the band and it's organizers for having something so cool like this even available. You'll never hear me complain about how Bono's voice is, where the recordings are from, what songs were selected, how long it takes to release. Oh no, not me......Thank You U2 and staff!!

Here's the recording info from the liner notes:

Recorded by Alistair McMillan
Mixed by Declan Gaffney at Hanover Quay, Dublin, and Artillery Studios, London
Mixing Assisted by Ronan Phelan and Jack McKenna
Keyboards by Terry Lawless ('I Still Haven't Found What I'm Looking For,' 'Beautiful Day,' 'Bad,' 'City of Blinding Lights,' 'MLK/Walk On,' 'With or Without You,' 'Moment of Surrender')

Produced by Declan Gaffney
Project Managers Jeremy Joseph and Brian Celler
Project Co-ordinators Candida Bottaci and Tanya Davis
Mastering Pete Maher for 140dB

I thought it was interesting that Terry Lawless was only credited with keyboards on 7 tracks, as there are keyboards on just about every song.  I guess the rest is handled by sequencers and software.

Oh, and here are the credited snippets:
"Need You Tonight"
"Never Tear Us Apart"
"You'll Never Walk Alone"
"Strangers in the Night"
"New York, New York"
"Whole of the Moon"

No problem!

Also, "Bad" includes a significant snippet of "All I Want is You," and "Moment of Surrender" starts off with Bono singing the first verse of "Party Girl"(!), thanks to some drunk guy in the crowd yelling requests.  :)

Thank You Slip

Sorry for the gigantic sizes. But I figure the higher the resolution, the better for your database. If you want me to re-post smaller, then I can delete this post and re-do.

I also wanted to scan the front, back, and inside front and back covers, but my bloody scanner just isn't big enough, and scanning in portions to combine them later looked like a cheapo job. Perhaps someone has a big enough scanner plate?

Concerning the first track on Disc 1 of U22
Even Better Than The Real Thing
Recorded at Estadio Azteca, Mexico City, May 15, 2011

I guess my U22 booklet has a misprint because it states the song was performed November 15, 2011

Has anyone else found other errors in the U22 booklet?

No worries.

As for the booklet, mine says November. Where did knowledge of the May date come from?

The May date came from Aaron's post on this page (page 5 of this topic . . . . way above my original post).  Aaron's post was made on June 8th and it shows the detailed track list from U22.

Regarding Even Better Than The Real Thing, why did they choose to fade the song in?  Two additional seconds of crowd noise added before the track would make it much more enjoyable.
