Bono on Pearl Jam "Official" Bootleg
« on: September 20, 2005, 10:24:26 AM »
Pearl Jam is really on the ball when it comes to technology.

Last night's performance in Toronto is already available for download through their bootleg site, including Eddie and Bono's cover of Neil Young's "Rockin' In The Free World."

Well, in Bono's case it's not so much a cover as making up words as he goes along.

Carl, I think this may be the biggest lyrics trancscription challenge since the b-side version of "Twilight."

$9.99 @ http://bootlegs.pearljam.com/

Kudos to PJ for the format they use also: DRM-less 192 kbps MP3.

Ugh. That sounds like a nice surprise and a threat rolled into one.

Though I think Boomerang II was more challenging than the single version of Twilight due if nothing else than length.  I still remember the old file name for that was 33_03.html

Burned in my mind.
