Soweto Gospel Choir - African Spirit
« on: February 03, 2007, 08:36:34 AM »
I've downloaded this 2 songs from itunes:

Avulekile Amasango / One Love (2.43) by Soweto Gospel Choir, Bono but I can't recognize Bono's voice...
One (4.49) by Soweto Gospel Choir: it's the 46664 performance by Bono & The Edge with  Soweto Gospel Choir, it's an edited version without Bono's intro and unchained melody.
anyone has more info about One Love with Bono? the song is labelled as performed by Soweto Gospel Choir & Bono...

thanks ;-)

The press release I linked to on the front page talks about the group performing One Love, but makes no mention of Bono.

Thanks for the info on "One."  I will change the news entry to reflect that this is indeed an edit of the 46664 version.

I have read the press release, it talks about u2's one only performed by bono. I don't know why itunes sell One Love as performed by Soweto Gospel Choir & Bono and amazon too:
http://www.amazon.com/African-Spirit-Soweto-Gospel-Choir/dp/B000JUB8W0/sr=8-3/qid=1169599664/ref=pd_bbs_sr_3/104-3856595-9871140?ie=UTF8&s=music
the funny thing is that for amazon One is performed by Sonny Bono :-)
