Bono Busking in Dublin
« on: December 27, 2012, 11:33:13 PM »
So I've just read in a Melbourne newspaper that Bono, Glen Hansard and Sinead O'Connor were busking in Dublin streets on Christmas eve. On Grafton St, specifically, to raise money for homelessness charities. So I wonder if maybe something might be released to the public, digitally, to raise money. As far as I know, there was an acoustic version of Desire and Nothing Compares 2 U, as well as some christmas classics. No word if any of his bandmates were there, though. But just thought I'd put it out there for you all.

Bono has done this each year for the last four years I believe, and there was nothing released from the previous years. Bono and Hansard seem to be the mainstays each year.  Think this was the first time Sinead was part of the mix.  I'm doubtful there will be a release, as the previous years have gone without anything.

Busking?  That's playing songs, or doing performance art of some kind in the streets to raise money.
