Your Blue Room
« on: April 27, 2004, 09:36:43 PM »
most of the words are easy, yeah, but I had a few differences of opinion with your lyrics. here it is in full, so everything's in context (didn't include Adam's bit at the end, though)

It's time to go again
To your blue room
Got some questions to ask of you
In your blue room

The air is clean, skin is clear
I've had enough fun hanging 'round here
It's a different kind of conversation
In your blue room

Saw me coming love
Here, you come inside
Saw me come in
Somewhere I can hide

And time is a string of pearls
I'll swing it
See the future just hanging there
A new frame, a new perspective
Looking down on my objectives
Your instructions
Whatever their directions
Your blue room

Saw me coming love
Easy, calm and new
Saw me coming
What can you feel?

It's alright

One day, I'll be back
Yeah, I hope I remember where it's at

Ooo you see me sad, alone
Won't you bring me back home?
So much for change

}:)~

I agree on the second line.  If you listen closely there is a "You" before the first line, faint but there.  Third line come in / coming I'm not sure about, but yours makes more sense I suppose.

YES!!!  Before I heard something like "I'm a Swinger" but knew that was off, amusing though it was.

Mine:
You saw me coming round
East by the moon
You saw me coming
But can you feel?

I agree with your lines 2 and 4 but am sticking with my 1 and 3.  I knew 2 made no sense but didn't hear anything better.

You see me slide on
Won't you bring me back home?

I actually think "sliding on"

Actually, line 2 is the one I have beat my head against the wall the most about, "Easy, calm, and new" is the closest thing I can come up with. My other thought on that line was possibly: "Is he/it calling you?" with 'calling' and 'you' run together so that it sounds like callin' gnu }:)~

"Zooming in
Zooming out
Nothing I can't do without
A lense to it all up close
To Magnify what no one knows
Never in company
Never alone
No car alarm
No cellular phone
"

What I hear:

"Zooming in
Zooming out
Nothing I can't do without
A lense to it all up close
To Magnify what no one heaven knows
Never in company
Never alone
No car alarm
No cellular phone
"
