Information/questions regarding Magnificent- remixes
« on: January 04, 2011, 02:54:54 AM »
Hello,

I'm looking for WAV files of the Dave Aude Instrumental, Fred Falke Radio Edit and Fred Falke Instrumental from "Maginificent", does anyone have any idea how it might be possible to find these?

Also looking for WAV Vission Solmatic mix if that's anywhere.

I have information regarding the Dave Aude radio mix, it was digitally delivered as WAV to radio programmers, it's a promotional mix available digitally, not unreleased...

More information regarding a "I'll Go Crazy If I Don't Go Crazy Tonight" remix, it was commissioned by Interscope and never released... remixes by Christopher Lawrence, programmed by Dave Audé...

Christopher Lawrence Club Mix 7:12
Christopher Lawrence Dub Mix 7:13
Christopher Lawrence Radio Mix 3:33

These were also sent to DJs digitally as WAVs but not by Interscope, it was another list

Thanks very much for any help

A quick Google search says Christopher Lawrence leaked his remixes online, though I see no mention of it on his official website.
Just downloaded them here in MP3: http://www.crystalclouds.com/forum/index.php?op=NEArticle&sid=1029 (download link at the end of the article).
Didn't look hard enough to see if anyone has them in WAV, but I doubt it.

As for the Magnificent remixes in question, Masterbeat has them all in MP3 but not WAV. The Richard Vission mix (assuming it's the same one you're talking about -- never heard that name before) has appeared exclusive to that site so far. If I recall correctly, the others were available in miscellaneous other media.

You sound better informed than I am on these matters, so I'm not sure why I even thought I should answer this question.

I collect dance music really, not U2 in particular, I was hoping people here might know of some obscure in-house production CDr or something that'd have these mixes on it....

Yeah that's the mix I was talking about, the Richard Vission Remix. As for the Christopher Lawrence mixes, I have the wav's. I actually played that mix a bunch of times on Energy 98. I was just giving information about that one because they're not listed on the main site here.

::: Turns out that my kid loves 'Magnificent' so I gave him the USA cd single with 10 remixes...then, I dowloaded the RAC Mix, and the Richard Vission mix along a Redanka Mix that does not comes in the cd single from a YouTube video, but they sound terrible as I recorded them into a music cd -not mp3. I mean, in the PC speakers they sound good, but when it comes to a high definition device I want to turn off the damn thing. :o

I'm missing a decent file of GOYB - Crookers mix as this one was a iTunes exclusive on International apple stores NOT available to Mexico itunes Store. If any of you got this one, and like to share a copy of this file, I'd be more than glad, since i'm not that good on the P2P sites like torrents, and flacs, etc, I'm so damn GOOD buying actual records, cds and physical music media  ;D

p.s.- also need a redanka miracle drug remix! Thanks

I only recall the following Magnificent remixes by Redanka?
Magnificent (Redanka's 180 Version)
Magnificent (Redanka's 360 Version)
Magnificent (Redanka Vocal Mix) - which (I think) is the same as 'Redanka's 360 Version'

If not, could you please provide the YouTube link?

The info is more than welcome! I'm a big electronica/dance/etc. fan, so I'm totally thrilled with any insight you can provide on rare U2 remixes. (And any obscure and/or unreleased tracks you can throw my way  ;D )

By the way, the Richard Vission remix is hands-down my favorite remix of Magnificent.

::: Hi u2Expert

I've compared both mixes, the one named from Youtube and the one from my CD, and they're the same. Basically someone , trim this one (360) and uploaded the video.  :P
