Thanks for that.  I'll try to pop in once a month with an update of the full month.

Most of the updates of the discography entries will show on the front page, but smaller updates like changes to the catalog and the like do not show up.  So even though we added 50 scans to the HTDAAB entry this week, they don't show as an updated entry.

It's great to know about the images. Personally, IMHO, they're the best feature of the site. I'd rather have all the images online than have an entry for some obscure Belgian compilation CD from 2000 with "Elevation" on it.

But I know I'm not the only one using this site. :)

It’s easier to catch up on them when there isn’t a lot of news and I’m not running around as much. Did another 24 CDs today, will get them uploaded tomorrow. Rewrote the “Invisible” single entry, and uploaded the 7-inch images for “The Ground Beneath Her Feet”...we will likely focus on getting the CDs and 7-inches in my collection done and then start asking for contributions.

The 12-inches will get done eventually.

We’ve also built out a couple of new news sections (one for interviews, one for special stories) and have been playing around with some improvements to the discography. It’s time to give he discography some love :)

As for the compilations, mostly ignoring them unless there’s a unique edit or something different about them. But in the near future I’ll be uploading a master list of nearly 1500 compilations and what U2 song and what version of the song is on there. Once that’s up I’ll have even more reason to ignore compilations for a while yet :)

Definitely not boring, Aaron. I'm a fan, as you know. I spend a lot of time trawling through old Irish rock records from the 1980s & 1990s and so much information gets lost. Release dates of #1 albums. The dates of Rory Gallagher's last Cork gigs. Setlists - even by U2 - gone. And even REM. There was a site much like this - svs - that catalogued their work. Gone. Important and appreciated work Aaron, even all those seconds of silence and Belgian comps!

As you can see above I'm just updating the initial post.  But it's nice to see the growth, and it gives me a bit of a challenge. Can I upload more scans in February than I did in January?! Haha.  We've been going like this in the background for some time, so if anyone hasn't poked around the discography maybe its time for a second look.  :)  A lot has changed since we first put it together back in 2009 - 2014.
