| In 1998, Zucchero wrote a song called "Blu" for his album
Blue
Sugar. He turned to Bono for assistance in writing lyrics for
an English version of the song, and Bono agreed. The resulting song
is titled "Blue" where as the original italian version retains it's Italian
spelling of "Blu". Bono does not perform on this track, he only contributes
vocals.
The song "Blue" was also featured as the first single of the album.
It was also released as a promotional single.
Both the commercial and promotional releases feature an edited version
of the song "Blue". |
