OTHER NOTES
Although a commercial video was shot for this song it was
released only as part of a 1987 Documentary, "Outside it's America". The
single did have limited chart success, but with very little promotion,
it seems that this single was almost an afterthought. It did however, chart
in the UK as an import. The single itself only contained tracks which
were readily available on the album, thus possibly lessening sales.
In God's Country was released as recorded live in Denver in 1987 on the
Excerpts
from Rattle and Hum promotional single.
This single was only commercially released in Canada and the United
States on 7" vinyl. Canada also received a version on cassette, and
a special limited to 10000 copies 12" vinyl single.
