In 2003 fans saw the first signs of U2's future plans with
Apple's iTunes store, as they began to release exclusive tracks through
their digital store. This release was the first featured recording
by U2 released in the iTunes store. It featured artwork that had
originally been planned for the commercial release of The Hands that Built
America, but plans for that single were eventually cancelled. The
tracks could be downloaded in Apple's AAC format of compressed music file.
The live tracks were recorded in Boston, on June 6, 2001, the concert
which was filmed for a DVD release. These tracks were previously
released on the Three Tracks Live from Boston
promo release. The Acoustic Version of Stuck in a Moment was released
on the Stuck in a Moment commercial single in
Canada, and the Walk On commercial singles elsewhere. |
