OTHER NOTES: |
For a third year in a row, subscribers to u2.com recieved
a double CD set upon renewing their subscription. This time out,
the CD is a double audio set, featuring songs taken from the DVD release
of U2 Go Home: Live from Slane Castle, which had been released in 2003
on DVD.
That DVD featured Mysterious Ways as a bonus track, and not as part
of the actual running time of the concert. It is kept the same on
this release, which points to this being an identical replica of the DVD
audio, although the credits do mention that this was remastered for an
audio release. I'm at a loss to explain why Mysterious Ways would
not have been returned to where it belonged if they were going to go through
the trouble of mastering this again.
This release was not released for sale, and was available exclusively
through the fan club. It is packaged in a cardboard gatefold sleeve
with artwork similar to the 2003 DVD release. |
