I found the song on youtube this morning and gave it a listen. i don't think i can bring myself to actually watch the movie.  i already have the urge to throttle "Bruno" everytime i see an ad for the movie...

If this goes anywhere in the site's discography or lyrics database, I will file an official appeal. Not because I'm offended (I'm not), or because I hate Sacha Baron Cohen (I do), but because Bono just got less cool for taking part in that.

Aw, c'mon. Bono could never sink below being the author of that Tom Jones song. Never.
I've checked with NASA and they have satellite photos that prove whenever and wherever that song is played there is increased wobble in the earth's orbit.

Besides, Bono didn't write this Bruno song....did he?...did he?....well if he wrote his own lines then I will surely reconsider...  :D

Well, now that I've seen it...well, frankly, that was a riot!  Good for Bono!  A little of the "letting the air" out of his image like The Fly did post-RATTLE AND HUM.  The right to be ridiculous is something he holds dear, indeed!  Good stuff...still don't want to see the movie, though...

The Tom Jones song may have been bad, but that doesn't mean he can do more uncool stuff without damaging his reputation. After all, imagine if he wrote two Tom Jones songs....
