"Time flies like the wind. Fruit flies like a banana." - Groucho Marx

I'm thankful for the lull in new U2 things to buy. I'm thankful for a good enough life that I can spend so much of it scouring a U2 fansite for something I didn't know yet.

Oh wait, I still need the Starbucks promo. That's right, I said "need." I'm thankful that, of all the things I could be addicted to, they are collecting U2 music, wasting time online, and Mountain Dew.

I'm constantly reminding my wife that my U2 habit is far less expensive than other habits.

Collecting sports cars, for example.  ;)

Sure. Even a more typical habit, like smoking, is more expensive in the long run than the occasional $100+ CD/record.

Bit early this year, aren't you?

I guess I'm going to trek out to the record shop on Friday and try to pick up Ordinary Love on vinyl. It's a pain to get up early and wait in line, but much cheaper than eBay.

Bump for 2014.

Time to hit the grocery store. Nothing like that friendly, last minute, shopping crowd.  :)
