Sorry For The Confusion
« on: January 04, 2005, 09:02:09 PM »
We just had our lyrics archive shut down.  We're not going to have offers for pirated in print material here.

It's not a matter of personal opinion or justice or whatever.

Check board rule #3.

Thanks.

Understood.

Not looking to get anything shut down, just to trade or whatever, like U2 fans have been doing for 25 years.

Hopefully, the band will release the two items I was looking for at a later time, after they use the iTunes $$ to save a rain forest.

Love the site and have been a visitor for years. Plan on visiting in the future as well.

No problem.

There is a difference between trading live material (or even physical copies of one single for another) and having someone burn you commercially released material.

Personally I think the iTunes only stuff is neat, but it excludes people in a lot of countries and the price of the "box set" is a definate deterrant, especially if you don't primarily listen to music in mp3/mpa format and therefore aren't concerned about saving time and having consistent eq/volume across rips of material you already probably own a lot of.
