New York Nasty Mix
« on: December 28, 2004, 06:27:02 PM »
I have had the electrical storm single(s) for some time, but finally got around to listening to the b side of New York Nasty Mix.  I was just curious if everyone else has noticed this, or if it is just my copy.  At around the 1:00 minute mark, the music starts playing funny, kinda like it is skipping.  Is that normal?  It doesn't sound right, even if it is supposed to be like that.

It's normal, and I agree that it sounds lousy.

I suppose Mr. "KLF" (the remixer) must have thought it sounded like what the kids these days call "cool".  *rolls eyes*

I don't know a single person who thought that CD-skip bit of the remix sounded good.  It's very distracting and doesn't make much sense in that (or any) part of the song.

LOL.  I am glad I am not the only one.

I mean... who wants to make a remix that makes people question if there is something wrong with their CD?  It just doesn't sound right, and is totally distracting.  It doesn't seem to blend in at all, and in no way sounds like it should be there.  It just sounds like an error, nothing more, nothing less.

Thanks for the clarification though... I almost bought another copy.
