CD Covers for Complete U2?

I am buying the Complete U2 for a friend of mine that does not have a computer to speak of. I am going to burn all the CD's individually for him. Does anyone know where I can get hi-res scans of all the covers? I have all the full CDs and some of the singles, so I could scan them myself if I had to,  but I know someone has already done this somewhere out there?

There is no physical covers in "The Complete U2" set.  What you get is a pdf file which has images which we use as "covers" in the discography entries for these unreleased tracks and the two live sets.  The one's we have up are pretty good quality, and are taken directly from the pdf file.  Check them out at http://www.u2wanderer.org/disco/album.html under "Digital Albums".

As for quality images of the previously released materials, I think you'll find our site probably has some of the better quality scans out there.  We scan at 300dpi where possible, and save at a low compression rate so quality isn't lost.  Just go to the discography page of the album or single in question and click on the smaller image to get a bigger version.

And if they look familiar to what's in the digital box set liner notes, we already know that some of our material was used in that manner.  )
