Have there been new Summer of Love remixes recently or has the campaign come to an end?

Last word I had on the campaign was that there were two remixers that were expected to have mixes released. One had been sent for final approval (which would probably be the Mike Cruz mixes, they came out after that) and the other mixes had not yet been submitted for approval.  At that point it was expected there would be no other mixes done for that particular track.

Interesting.  MINDSKAP wrote on Facebook yesterday,
Quote from: MINDSKAP
A teaser of my latest remix of U2 "Summer Of Love" which is climbing the Billboard Dance top chart along with all official remixes of this single.

To be released anytime soon by Universal Music / Island Records.

Do we know if there is another commercial release coming or has he been misinformed?

I'm surprised the campaign is ending, given that it's now climbed to #8 on the dance chart.

Not 100% sure on the MINDSKAP thing...but, four tracks are now streaming on Tidal.  Ralphi Rosario Radio Edit, DJLW Remix, MINDSKAP Remix, and Ralphi's Summer Love Mix are all available on Tidal now. BUT, they aren't audio.  It's the video files that also appeared on YouTube. Still trying to decide whether they should be mentioned in the commercial release entry or just the promo one...at this point the lines are getting really blurred.

Literally as we discuss they released another five remixes:

UNDERHER 5:36
Myke Rossi 6:09
House of Frappier Tech-House Mix 4:45
House of Frappier Tech-House Dub 4:45
Tweaka Turner Nu-Trance Mic 5:18

And they are neither MINDSKAP nor Rusty Egan.

That UNDERHER Remix is gorgeous. As a huge DM fan, especially of some of their darker remixes, that one really caught my ear.  I recommend keeping an ear out for it.

The Myke Rossi mix can be heard on SounCloud here.  Similarly to his LIBTAIIW remix, I don't find it that impressive.

Where can you listen to it?

Paul Oakenfold MIx of Love is All We Have Left:

At this point not officially released.  Not sure it will be based on some discussions I have had.

Can’t help but this is the worst Oakenfold remix of a U2 song I’ve ever heard. Don’t think that mix of original parts and dance parts really works for this song. Neither fish nor fowl.

...hate to say it, but I agree.  Doesn't sound like he had any original stems, or anything - just a lazy toss of a dance beat over the fence, dubbed on top of the original track.

It appears that the following Summer Of Love remixes have found their way to DJs:
 - Hardwell Instrumental (3:52)
 - Hardwell Radio Edit (3:23)
 - HP Hoeger Rusty Egan Chill Mix (4:56)

and maybe these two mixes from the August 10 commercial EP were pushed to DJs with the aforementioned tracks as well:
 - Beach Me Howie B Remix (8:40)
 - HP Hoeger Rusty Egan Driftaway Mix (4:21)

I don't know specific release date(s).

Had a note from Rusty Egan today in regards to his Chill Mix showing up on Dirrty. He doesn't seem impressed. As far as he knows it has not been sent out to promo, and he's trying to find out how it ended up there. First he had heard was when someone congratulated him on Twitter for it being released and then telling him that it was on Dirrty...(Pirate site for those who aren't familiar.)

I haven't seen these come through the usual means either.

If anyone has a lead on how they made their way into the pirate sites...please, let me know.

Neither the Hardwell Radio Edit and the Hardwell Instrumental nor the HP Hoeger & Rusty Egan have been pushed to DJs officially according to my sources.

Interesting to learn how they came to surface if the DJs have not leaked them themselves.
