SOE Additional Non-Album "Official" Tracks/Videos

Well judging from the response to our story yesterday, U2 needs to get this out.  I've never seen such a response on social media.  These Fifth Harmony fans are already organizing listening/buying parties to try to drive the song up the charts when it comes out.

The main post has been updated, the biggest change being that I removed the following versions of Love Is Bigger Than Anything In Its Way from the list above because they were only leaked by the DJ who produced it or the promotional company itself, but never actually released:

• Offer Nissim Remix (4:08 version), 2018-05-23
• Dirty Disco Sunset Remix, 2018-05-30
• MINDSKAP Remix, 2018-06-09
• Isak Salazar & Erick Ibiza Remix (5:03 version), 2018-06-19 (since removed from SoundCloud)

I'd actually wanted to leave them in there at the bottom of the post but the post is getting so long that I hit a character limit!

Of course I continue to update date the list as new things come along.  As always, please advise of any errors or updates needed.

It's interesting that they're trying so many different things now. Aside from Mary J. Blige and "One," I can't think of a time when they've invited other artists to add new verses, etc. to their music, beyond just remixes. Even Mary didn't write a whole new verse though. I wonder what would have happened if they had tried something like this in 83? Cindy or Kate from the B-52's adding a verse to a "Two Hearts" remix? Kate Bush? The guys from Wham?

According to the website, "The fourth and fifth remixes, from American Dance Icon DJLW and Dutch Star Hardwell are set to drop 8/31."  This count ignores the two Hoeger/Egan mixes.

How strict are we trying to be on exact remix titles on Page 1 of this topic?
I ask because Page 1 lists a remix as:
Summer Of Love [HP. Hoeger Rusty Egan Heatwave Mix]

According to the u2songs.com discography, it's listed as:
Summer Of Love [Heatwave HP. Hoeger Rusty Egan Mix]

I've checked around and these don't appear to have been sent out yet, and appear to be an early release by the DJ, who perhaps thought they were going out on 8/31.

How strict are we trying to be on exact remix titles on Page 1 of this topic?

Good question.  I was wondering the same thing.  Aaron was the only source (that I noticed) referring to the mix with "Heatwave" at the front of the title.  The mixes that were pushed to DJs, as far as I could tell, had the remixers' names at the beginning instead, so there seemed to be two titles.  For example, here's the promo art from the promotion company Citrusonic's Facebook page.

However, as U2's YouTube page was just updated with all these new remix videos, they put "Heatwave" at the beginning of the title.  See: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jBSt7sZQ6Jo.

So I think that "Heatwave" in front is the more official title, but the remixers' names in front certainly qualifies as a legitimate "AKA" situation.

And if you want to get really strict, notice that U2's YouTube page doesn't use "HP.", just "HP".  So there's that difference, too!

When I was sent the title it was as written in the entry on the site, except for the “.” I added that to be consistent with the other releases he had participated on. The track came out without it. So did the YouTube post. I’ll remove it.

The Summer Love Mix May be mislabeled at U2s YouTube, I’m told it is called the Ralphi Rosario & Jay Cappo Summer Love Mix and should be out soon for official promotion under that name, like the MINdSKAP one. I’m told one of those will likely be sent out today.
