I'm sure this show will be on a U2.com subscription bonus CD in the near future.
How about all 4 Dublin Lovetown shows in full lossless? Now there's a nice release. Ya think?

Meanwhile, just cleaning out old folders. Seems the right time.

Where The Streets Have No Name
Point Depot
Dublin, Ireland
December 27, 1989

Oh yeah
(Oh)

I wanna run, I want to hide
I wanna tear down the walls that hold me inside
I wanna reach out and touch the flame, yeah
Where the streets have no name

I wanna feel the sunlight on my face
I see the dust cloud disappear without a trace
I wanna take shelter from the poison rain
Where the streets have no name

Where the streets have no name
Where the streets have no name
We're still building, then burning down love
Burning down love
And when I go there, I go there with you
It's all I can do
I can do it

The city’s a flood and our love turns to rust
We're beaten and blown by the wind, trampled in dust
I'll show you a place high on a desert plain
Where the streets have no name, oh-oh

Where the streets have no name
Where the streets have no name
We’re still building then burning down love
Burning down love
And when I go there, I go there with you
It's all I can do
I can do it
I’ll do it

Oh-oh-oh, woh-oh-oh-oh
You…meet it?
Oh-oh-oh, woh-oh-oh-ah
Alright, all night

Where the streets have no name
Where the streets have no name
We’re still building, then burning down love
Burning down love
And when I go there, I go there with you
It’s all I can do
It’s all I know how to do
Woo-hoo-hoo
I will survive by the chosen light
I wanna go there with you

I Will Follow
Point Depot
Dublin, Ireland
December 27, 1989

Tear the walls down
I Will Follow

I was on the outside
When you say, you say you needed me
I was looking at myself
I was blind and could not see…oh yeah

Well a boy tries hard to be a man
His lover takes him by his hand
If he stops to think
He‘ll always wonder why

If you walk away, walk away
Walk away, walk away
I will follow
If you walk away, walk away
Walk away, walk away
I will follow

I was on the inside
When they pulled the four walls down
I was looking through myself
I was lost, I am found

Walk away, walk away
Walk away, walk away
I will follow
If you walk away, walk away
Walk away, walk away
I will

Be careful
Watch it Bono

Hold it up
Hold me up
Hold yourself up

Your eyes make a circle
I see you when I… go in there
But it’s your eyes
Yeah, your eye
But it’s your eye
Yeah, yeah, yeah your… your eye
Ah-ha, there is love
Ah-oh, there is love

If you walk away, walk away
Walk away, walk away
I will follow
If you walk away, walk away
Walk away, walk away
I will follow

I will follow
I will… follow
I will follow
I will
I will
I will
I will…follow

Yeah

I Still Haven’t Found What I’m Looking For
Point Depot
Dublin, Ireland
December 27, 1989

Yeah
Is that alright? Good
It’s great to be, to be back in um …um...
We got the whole world here tonight. We got people from all over
We even got people here from the south side of Dublin
Yeah…we got ‘em across the river
So what’s been happening? What’s happening here in Dublin…Ireland?
Yep. I know the Pope’s been hanging out with Noriega, I heard that
What else?
Yep. Spooker’s still trying to stop people having same sex. Yeah, that’s bad.

We’ve been, uh, all over, we’ve been in Japan and Australia and…
They got some pretty psychedelic germs in Australia, let me tell ya
They’re having their annual general meeting in my throat at the moment
But if my voice is not strong, your voice is strong

I have climbed the highest mountain
I have run through the fields
Only to be with you
Only to be with you
(Sing it)
I have run (I have crawled
I have scaled these city walls
These city walls)
Only to be with you

But I still haven't found what I'm looking for
But I still haven't found what I'm looking for
Larry Mullen Junior

I have kissed honey lips
Felt the healing in her fingertips
It burned like a fire
This burning desire

I have spoke with the tongue of angels
I have held the hand of a devil
It was warm in the night
I was cold as a stone, yeah

But I still haven't found what I'm looking for
But I still haven't found what I'm looking for

How about you?
If you can’t dance, you gotta clap
Maybe a strong ?

I believe in the kingdom come
Then all the colors will bleed into one
Bleed into one
But, yes, I'm still running
Oh God help me

You broke the bonds and you
Loosed the chain
Carried the cross, yeah
Of my shame
Of my shame
You know I believe it

But I still haven't found what I'm looking for
But I still haven't found what I'm looking for
But I still
But I still haven't found what I’m looking for

I have climbed the highest mountain, yeah
I have run through the fields
Only to be with you
Only to be with you

I have run I have crawled
I have scaled these city walls
These city walls
Only to be with you
Um

But I still
I’m looking for Bob Marley
When I meet him, I’m gonna say
Bob Marley, tell me about…your
Exodus, the movement of Jah people, alright!
Exodus, the movement of Jah people, alright!
Alright!
Alright!

They say 70,000 people lost their lives over the last week…for Romania I sing this…for them

Sleep, sleep tonight
And may your dreams be realized
If the thunder cloud passes rain
So let it rain, rain down on he

Mmmm
So let it be
Mmmm
So let it be

Sleep, sleep tonight
And may your dreams be realized
Thank you

The Unforgettable Fire
Point Depot
Dublin, Ireland
December 27, 1989

Ice
Your only rivers run cold
These city lights
They shine as silver and gold
Dug from the night
Your eyes as black as coal

Walk on by
Walk on through
Walk till you run and don't look back
For here I am

Carnival
The wheels fly and the colors spin
Through alcohol
Red wine that punctures the skin
Face to face
In a dry and waterless place

Walk on by
Walk on through
So sad to beseech your love so head on
Stay in this time
Stay tonight in a lie
I'm only asking but I think you know

Come on take me away
Come on take me home
Come on take me away
We’re home again

Home again?
This feels like home
With The Edge Orchestra

Never change, ah

And if the mountains should crumble
Or disappear into the sea
Not a tear, no not I
Stay in this time
Stay tonight in a lie
I’m only asking but I think you know

Stay in this time
Stay tonight
Ever after it’s loving time
And if you save your love
Save it all
Well don't push me too far
Don't push me too far
Tonight
Tonight
Tonight

God Part II
Point Depot
Dublin, Ireland
December 27, 1989

Don't believe the devil
I don't believe his book
But the truth is not the same
Without the lies he made up
Don't believe in excess
Success is to give
Don't believe in riches
But you should see where I live
I…I believe in love, yeah

Don't believe in forced entry
I don't believe in rape
But every time she passes by
A wild thought escapes
Don't believe in death row
Skid row or the gangs
Don't believe an Uzi
Just went off in my hand
I, still I believe in love
Love

Yeah c’mon, speed up
Watch it, yeah
(She’s a mullet)?

Don’t believe in cocaine
I got a speedball in my head
I could cut and crack you open
Did you hear what I said?
I don't believe them when they tell me
There ain't no cure
The rich stay healthy and
The sick stay poor
Still I, I believe in love
Love

Love, love, love, love
Love, love, love
Yeah, alright
?...love
I don't believe in Goldman
His type like a curse
Instant Karma's gonna get him
If I don't get him first
I don't believe that rock'n'roll
Can really change the world
As it spins in revolution
Spiral and turns
Still I, yeah I believe in love, love

Don't believe in the '60s
Golden age of pop
You glorify the past
The future dries up
Singer on the radio
Late last night
Says he's gonna kick the darkness
Till it bleeds daylight
I…y’know I believe in love

Aren’t I just swell, go

Ooo love, love, love
Love, love, love
(A warm hand to my heart)
I…I believe in…The Edge
Stop it!

Desire
Point Depot
Dublin, Ireland
December 27, 1989

Greed
Greed is good
Yeah…move

Lover,  I'm off the streets
I’m gonna go where bright lights, big city meet
With a red guitar, sometimes vanilla
Desire

She is a candle burning in my room
I'm like a needle, needle and spoon
Over the counter with a shotgun
Pretty soon yo, everybody got one
And the fever is getting higher
Desire
Desire

Burning
Guitar
Fever, fever
When I’m beside her
Desire
Desire
Burning up
Burning
I’m burning baby
Burn in hell
Burn in hell
I’m gonna go out, not

1960 not ok
All across the USA
Another year with nothing to do
Another year with me and you
79…89…69…make a dime

She’s the dollars, she’s my protection
Ah she is a promise in the year of election
Oh sister, I can’t let you go
Like a preacher stealing hearts at a traveling show

For love or money
More money
Mo money mo money money money
Money mo money

And the fever getting higher
Desire
Desire
Desire
Desire

Oh yeah, move it

All Along The Watchtower
Point Depot
Dublin, Ireland
December 27, 1989

Rock ‘n’ roll, that’s all folks

There must be some way out of here
Said the joker to the thief
There's too much confusion here
I can't get no relief

Businessmen they drink my wine
Plowmen dig my earth
None of them know along the line
What any of this is worth

No reason to get excited
The thief he kindly spoke
There are many among us here
Who think that life is but a joke

You and I, we've been through that
And that is not our fate
Let us not talk falsely now
The hour is getting late, late, yeah

Before the moment you touched my hand
That perfect moment when time just slips away
You are like a hurricane
There’s hope in your hand
And I’m getting blown away
Across the sea to take you home

All along the watchtower
The princes kept the view
While the horseman came and went
And the barefoot servants, too

Outside in the distance
A wildcat did growl
Two riders approaching
And the wind begins to howl…

Oh-ah-uh-ah-ha
Uh-huh, uh-uh-uh-uh-uh-uh-uh
Ooo-uh-uh, sing it

All I Want Is You / Bad
Point Depot
Dublin, Ireland
December 27, 1989

You say you want a diamond on a ring of gold
You say you want your story to remain untold
All the promises we make
From the cradle to the grave
When all I want is you

If you twist and turn away
If you tear yourself in two again
If I could, you know I would
If I could, I would
Let it go

Surrender
Dislocate
(Well that’s right tonight, we’ll tell them)

If I could throw this lifeless
Lifeline to the wind
Leave this heart of clay
See you walk, walk away
Into the light
Through the day

If I could through myself
Set your spirit free
I’d lead your heart astray
To see you break, break away
Into the light
Through the rain
Into the half light
Through the… flame
(Baby sing)

Ooh-ooh…
Ooh-ooh…

To let it go, uh-huh
And so fade away-ha
Let it go, uh-huh
And so fade away-ah-ha

I’m wide awake, yeah
I’m wide awake, yeah
Wide awake…yeah
I’m not sleeping, oh no
I’m not sleeping
Ooh-ooh-ooh-ooh-ooh

If they should ask
Well maybe they’d
Tell me what I should say
True colors fly in blue and black
Bruised silken sky and burning flag
Colors crash, collide in bloodshot eyes

If I could, you know I would
If I could, I would
Let it go
Let it go

This desperation
Separation
In temptation
Isolation
Revelation

Let it go, uh-huh
And so fade away, hah
Let it go, uh-huh
And so fade… fade

Fade away
Fade away
Not fade away
No, no
Not fade away
Ooh-ooh

All my fears are dead
For my love
Give it up people
I feel love
Can I feel love
Give up Jezebel
Give me love
Give it up
And I want it
And I want it
Give me love
Love, love, love
Love, love

I’m wide awake
I’m wide awake
Wide awake
I’m not sleeping, oh no
I’m not sleeping
Ooh-ooh-ooh

Let it go, uh-huh
And so…

Wanna dance with you
Wanna dance with you
I just wanna dance with you
That’s all…folks

Van Diemen’s Land
Point Depot
Dublin, Ireland
December 27, 1989
Sung by The Edge

Hold me now, oh hold me now
Till this hour has gone around
And I'm gone on the rising tide
For to face Van Diemen's Land

It's a bitter pill I swallow here
To be rent from one so dear
We fought for justice and not for gain
But the magistrate sent me away

Now kings will rule and the poor will toil
And tear their hands as they tear the soil
But the day will come in the dawning age
When an honest man sees an honest wage

Hold me now, oh hold me now
Till this hour has gone around
And I'm gone on the rising tide
For to face Van Diemen's Land
For to face Van Diemen’s Land

Thank you

Bullet The Blue Sky
Point Depot
Dublin, Ireland
December 27, 1989

In the howling wind comes a stinging rain
I see ‘em driving nails into the souls in the tree of pain
From the firefly, a red orange glow
I see the face of fear running scared in the valley below

Sky  / Oh-oh-oh-oh-oh-oh
Sky / Oh-oh-oh-oh
Bullet the blue sky / Sky
Bullet the blue sky / Sky
Bullet the blue / Sky
Bullet the blue / Sky

In a locust wind comes a rattle and hum
Jacob wrestled the angel, the angel was overcome
Ya plant a demon seed, you raise a flower of fire
I see them burning crosses, see the flames higher and higher

Sky / Oh-oh-oh-oh-oh-oh
Sky / Oh-oh-oh-oh
Bullet the blue sky / Sky
Bullet the blue sky / Sky
Bullet the blue / Sky
Bullet the blue / Sky

Yeah, what a whole lotta love
Yeah, huh, know what I’m saying?

See this guy comes up to me
His face red like a rose on a thornbush
Like all the colors of a royal flush
And he’s peeling off those dollar bills
Slapping them down…
One hundred…two hundred…

I can see those fighter planes
I can see those fighter planes

Through the mud huts the children sleep
Through the alleys of the quiet city streets
We take the staircase to the first floor
Turn the key and unlock the door

A man breathes into a saxophone
Through the walls we hear the city groan
Outside it’s America
It’s also a car park
Amen

Yeah, it’s a dirty job
Somebody gotta do it

I found myself… in a …
An old disused railway depot
In the center of the city of Dublin
And I can’t think of anywhere else I’d rather be, right now

Not the hills of San Salvador
With the skies ripped open
And the rain pours down through gaping wound
Pelting the women and children
Still pelting the women and children
Still pelting the women and children
Who run
Who run
Into the arms…of America

Running To Stand Still
Point Depot
Dublin, Ireland
December 27, 1989

Everybody wanna live in America…not me
This is where I live
I love this city
I hate what some of those bastards have done to it here
The boring unimaginative politicians… the arrogant architects…
And backhanding builders…let them go to fucking America

And so she woke up
She woke up from where she was lying still
Said I, I’ve got to do something about where I’m going, yeah
Step on a steam train, step out of the driving rain
Maybe, run from the darkness in the night

Singing ha, ha la la la de day
Ha la la la de day, ha la la de day, mm-hmm, yeah

Sweet the sin, bitter the taste in my mouth
I see seven towers but I only see one way out
You gotta cry without weeping, talk without speaking
And scream without raising your voice
You know I took the poison from the poison stream
Then I floated out of here

Singing ha, ha la la la de day
Ha la la la de day,  ha la la de day
Ha la la de day, yeah

She runs through the streets with her eyes painted red
Under a black belly of cloud in the rain
In through a doorway she brings me
White gold and pearls stolen from the sea
She is raging, she is raging
And the storm blows up in her eye
She will suffer the needle chill
She’s running to stand… still

I’m still running, (still running)
Still running, (still running)
Still running, (still running)
Still running, (still running)

I left my love by the gasworks wall
Dreamed a dream by the old canal
I kissed my love by the factory’s wall
Dirty old town, dirty old town

People Get Ready
Point Depot
Dublin, Ireland
December 27, 1989

U2 with Maria Mckee and B.B. King’s band
Written by Curtis Mayfield

[Bono=Normal; Maria Mckee=Italics; Together=Bold]

Gonna play an easy one, it’s called People Get Ready

People get ready there’s a train a’comin’
Picking up passengers coast to coast
Faith is the key, it opens doors and borders
You don’t need no ticket, you just get on board

There is still hope for the hopeless sinner
Who would hurt all mankind just to save his own
God have mercy, I’m a hopeless guitar player
But I know there’s a hiding place behind the kingdom’s throne

I said, people get ready there’s a train to Jordan
Picking up passengers coast to coast
Faith is the key, it opens doors and borders
You don’t need no ticket, you just get on board

Oh yeah
Oh…ooo

It’s a tradition, anyone wanna play my guitar?
Anybody wanna play my guitar?
Any young, rock ‘n’ roll, who’s out there wanna play my guitar?
Anybody?
Anybody wanna play my guitar?
Maria Mckee wants to play my guitar

Remember Coke is not the real thing
This is the real thing

Getting’ ready / Get ready
Getting’ ready / Oh yeah get ready, get ready, get ready

People get ready, there’s a train to Jordan
Picking up passengers coast to coast
Faith is the key it opens doors and borders
Don’t need no ticket you just get on board

People get ready there’s a train to Jordan
Picking up passengers from coast to coast
Faith is the key, it opens doors and borders
Don’t need no ticket, just get on board

People get ready
Get ready
Get ready

Don’t need no ticket you just get on board

When Loves Comes To Town
Point Depot
Dublin, Ireland
December 27, 1989

U2 with B.B. King and his band and singers

[Bono=Normal; BB King=Italics; Together=Bold]

Blues monster…Mr. B. B. King

I was a sailor, who’s lost at sea
I was under the waves before love rescued me
A prizefighter I could turn on a thread, now
I stand accused of the things I’ve said

When love come to town I’m gonna jump that train
When love come to town I’m gonna catch that flame
Maybe I was wrong to ever let you down
But I did what I did before love came to town

I used to make love until the red sunset
I was making promises I was soon to forget
She was pale as the lace of a wedding gown
I left her standing before (love came to town)

I ran into a juke joint, I heard the guitar scream
Notes were turning blue, I fell into a dream
B.B. King he played guitar, my life turned around
That was the day before (love came to town)

When love come to town I’m gonna jump that train
When love come to town I’m gonna catch that flame
Maybe I was wrong to ever let you down
But I did what I did before love came to town, yeah

I was there when they crucified my Lord
I held the scabbard when the soldier threw his sword
I rolled the dice when they pierced his side
I’ve seen love conquer the great divide

When love comes to town I’m gonna jump that train
When love comes to town I’m gonna catch that flame

Maybe I was wrong to ever let you down
But I did what I did before love came to town

B….B.B. King
I want you to know…B. B. King is ah…he’s the same age as my old man… but he’s a lot cooler than my old man…and he can kick ass better than I can
And he’s got a message. You got a message for the people?
I got a message for the people tonight
Amen
My message for the people tonight is…love…love
The kind of love that make you want to help somebody
My message tonight is (love) yes it is
My message tonight, love that make you want to go out and help somebody and not gonna hurt anybody
My message is L…O…V…E

When lolove comes to town I’m gonna jump that train
When love comes to town I’m gonna catch that flame
Maybe I was wrong to ever let you down
But I did what I did before love
came to town
Oh yes it is

Thank you. Sophie. Gloria

Love Rescue Me
Point Depot
Dublin, Ireland
December 27, 1989

U2 with B.B. King, his band and singers

[Bono=Normal; B.B. King=Italics; Together=Bold]

Well, this is, ah, I suppose, this is a kind of going away party
Because, um, I think that’s what we gotta do…and ah…oh no you don’t... (?)
Over…we’ve had a great 10 years, and um…
But really these gigs are just, they’re just concerts to ah...
We’re just throwing a party for ourselves, really, and you
And the people who worked for us, with us
And the people who believed in us along the way
We gotta do something else…the next…while we just gotta
We just gotta go away for a little bit
Anyway

Love rescue me
Come forth and speak to me
Raise me up and don’t let me fall
No man is my enemy
My own hands imprison me
Love rescue me

Many strangers have I met
On the road to my regret
Many lost who seek to find themselves in me
Well they ask me to reveal
The very thoughts that they would conceal
Love rescue me

And the sun in the sky
Makes a shadow of you and I
Stretching out as the sun sinks in the sea
I’m hanging by my thumbs
I’m ready for whatever comes
Love rescue me

I’ve conquered my past
The future is here at last
I stand in the entrance of a new world I can see
Ruins to the right of me
Will soon lose sight of me
Love
rescue me

Yeah, though I walk
In the valley of the shadow
Yeah, I will fear no evil
I cursed thy rod and staff
They no longer comfort me

Love rescue me

Sing sha-la-la

Sha-la-la-la, sha-la-la-la
Sha-la-la-la, sha-la-la-la-la
Sha-la-la-la, sha-la-la-la
Sha-la-la-la, sha-la-la-la (continues)

Dream up the kind of city you want to live in
Happy Christmas
Happy New Year
Good Night

Well my love…
We’re on a mountain side of love
Love, oh my life with he, yeah
Yeah I’m here, without a name
In the palace…my shame
Love rescue me

Rescue me
Rescue me
Rescue me
Yeah-yeah
Rescue me
Rescue me
Love, he’s the master
Yeah I’m here without a name
In the palace… my shame
I said love
Rescue…
Me

Good Night
God Bless You
