U2 Demo Recordings.
« on: August 23, 2016, 07:07:17 PM »
For the last two months, Aaron G and I have been tearing our hair out researching U2's demo recordings between 1978 - 1980.  We've spoken to a number of people involved, and who were around the band back in the day. We've plowed through a number of books and other references.  We've done everything we can do to make sense out of it all.

Part I is up now: http://www.u2songs.com/news/the_history_mix_producers_of_experience

Part II should be ready next week.

We hope you enjoy.  We're putting a lot of love into the site these days and if you aren't checking out the front page from time to time you really should.  :)

Webmaster Fatigue! LOL.

Here is an era related article that is fairly in depth.

Tim Summer. "How ‘Boy’ Transformed U2 Into Legends".The Observer, Aug 22, 2016.

The original link is also in the article but is messy.
