My Xfinity (Comcast) On Demand is offering it now until 12/29/11 for 6.99.

Check 'Just In' releases and it pops up on the same page as Killing Bono.

There's supposed to be a soundtrack and Larry wrote or co-wrote the title theme/song.

Watched the movie last night. Not bad. Larry's character was pretty quiet and only spoke when necessary, kind of like I imagine Larry. 

If anyone else has seen it, I would like to discuss the meaning of the ending sequence.

Thanks guys for bringing this movie to my attention.  I did a little research.  In case someone else does a search for the movie, the correct title of the Larry Mullen, Jr. version is:
The Man On The Train

I'm going to borrow the original 2002 French version of the movie from my library, watch it, then go to iTunes and watch the 2011 remake with Larry Mullen, Jr.  It's something I usually do for movies with remakes.  Completely unnecessary, but something I enjoy.  By the way, the original 2002 French version of the movie has these titles:
- L'homme du train (French title)
- Man On The Train (U.S. title)

I was surprised my local library actually had the original 2002 French version of the movie (L'homme du train/Man On The Train).  I watched it and then a day later, I went to iTunes and paid $6.99 to watch the 2011 version with Larry Mullen, Jr. (The Man On The Train)

Neither version impressed me.  Oh, sure . . . . there were some interesting moments.  The director did an excellent job, but the story/screenplay just didn't do it for me.  I actually can't believe someone would feel the original 2002 version was so good that a remake was necessary.

I think Larry did a fine job, considering the script that he was given.  In some scenes, Larry seemed more friendly to the professor (Donald Sutherland) than Johnny Hallyday was to the professor (Jean Rochefort).  And I liked that.

It was kinda cool to see Graham Greene - who many know as Kicking Bird in the 1990 movie Dances With Wolves.  And I'm a big fan of Donald Sutherland.

Overall, though, I would only recommend U2 fans see the 2011 version with Larry Mullen, Jr. . . . . just to see him give acting a pretty damn good effort.

Yeah, I found it somewhere cheap. Not sure I'll ever watch it again.

Yeah I bought it when it came out. It's been sitting on the coffee table in the "watch" pile ever since. It never seems to make it to the top of the pile...

I've been meaning to check out the DVD credits. The Man on A Train Theme does play over the credits, but there is a bit of train noise over the intro. It doesn't have the percussion track of this remix version.

I would like to have a clean version of the original, but oh well. Maybe a best of Larry Mullen box set (EP?) when the boys retire.
