on the "cut to chase" issue, i just wrote a member of that band to ask for clarification.  will post when i know more.  the original source of that was u2faqs.com - and when we inherited that site it was one of the facts that we always wanted to go back and check but didn't have a way at the time.

You find me an honest to goodness physical CD, or a legitimate download site selling "Dove of Peace" and I'll add it.  Until then I will continue to deny it's existance.

Ya know, I didn't even have to deny its existence. I had really and truly completely forgotten about it.

for some reason I missed this version of magnificent I found in the updated list:

Dave Audé Radio Edit (4:33)
Digital Only Release: Eventvibe.com (now removed)

I have done some research with google and found this link:

http://eventvibe.com/stuff/music/magnificent.mp3

it worked and I downloaded the file, can anyone confirm me that this is the same file originally upped by eventvibe.com?

That's the one. They had a "Dave Audé Full Remix" as well which turned out to be the same as the Club Remix.

I received Hard from Cut To The Chase in the mail today. I started a new thread with some scans. Bono is credited with drums.

I'm assuming it's the same Bono.

Just placed an order for this CD; now the question is "is it the same one?", because the liner notes you posted indicate that a different mix of "Cool American" appears on an alternate edition of HARD.

Actually, the way I read that was that the alternate version appears on a self-titled album, not on a different version of Hard.

Good call; you read right.  It was late for a parent of two toddlers when I wrote that...  :P
