Demo songs. Songs we've heard about but may have never heard. U2 over the years have talked about a lot of songs that have never seen the light of day.  So we've launched a new section of the page to discuss these titles, where we heard the name, what became of them over the years and more.  (Sorry no audio / video there, most of these exist in name only...)

Really started tracking these back in 2002 when I attended the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in Cleveland.  I was obsessed with the list of song titles from "All That You Can't Leave Behind" that had never been released. Spent an hour one day writing them all down.  Always intended to do something with it, and the move to U2Songs finally made it work.  And now we have a listing of all U2's songs.  The ones released (discography and lyrics) and the ones that haven't been. (Demos)

Fantastic stuff. I always thought about better understanding the genesis of some U2 songs. With this section it for the first becomes possible. Thanks for putting all this together and making it available. For me U2songs is the best of all the U2 related sites out there. Quality instead of quantity. Keep on going!

Incredible. I can't stop reading. Many new titles and several that bring back memories, like 'Tenterhook' which was used as a 2005 atu2.com contest question that stump many fans.

I hope someday we might see a 'Partially Released' section for those songs we've heard, but haven't been released commercially.
