the line in Smile?
« on: March 01, 2005, 07:58:55 AM »
from our sit:
Quote

Gravity, is not pulling me
I won't be a picture with no sign
Decaying, I'm praying
You are my abbot
I need the ground to kneel upon
And love can't be a song
I don't want to see you smile

But what I heard is
Quote

You are my air, but

so that would work with the  'ground to kneel upon'...

Air  <--->  Ground

looks nice to me...

Well, I'm not a native speaker...I noticed that just because I don't know what is an abbot?

what do you think?

An abbot is a religious figure, the superior of an abbey of monks, but your line is a lot nicer.

I'll give it a listen tonight and see what I hear.

update: heh - well I'm a bit late but I agree, the change is up.
