So if you didn't buy the uber or super collection and still would like a copy of the release, now you can have it.
I expect that this will be the full version shown at the TIFF, and not the edited version that was released with the box sets. Gotta throw that extra five minutes of footage back in so the completists go out and buy it right?! I'll be grabbing a copy on Blue Ray. I'll try to confirm on or around December 13th if the missing scenes are back in....
And for those who ask...
When the video was shown at the TIFF and on British TV, it included several scenes that are not included in the DVD released with the re-release of Achtung Baby. Those include:
- Scene where Bono listens to an early version of "Mysterious Ways" entitled "Sick Puppy" and he comments "it's not alright" while the Edge laughs.
- Edge telling a story about "Love is Blindness" and how he was putting everything he had into it, only to have Lanois comment it wasn't very good.
- Bono going through a list of bands they started out with, who are no longer together.
As well there are several scenes that are rumoured to be coming on this DVD / Blu Ray Release including some extras from the press conference they did in Toronto, as well as some additional performance footage.
