I have read that there were some difficulties for usa people to find the unedited version of under a blood red sky cd. here is the german pressing that was sold in europe at the time, you can have it for few $:

this is the easiest to find of the 3 european unedited editions, the other one is from germany too, exactly the same disc, the only difference is that the back cover says distribuited by rca/ariola instead of bmg/ariola, and the other, the more difficult to find, is the uk pressing, the only one that report track 6 as "the electric co. (interpolating america and send in the clowns)"...

Just out of curiosity, what is the unedited version of UABRS? Is it strictly that The Electric Co. has the snippets? Or is there something else distinctive about the CD/covers etc.?

yes, electric co is complete, 5.23 (the booklet says 5.18) with the america/send in the clowns part. another thing is that all the unedited editions on cd have no fades between party girl and sunday, while most of the edited editions are separate just like side a/b. and all have the white back cover with the island logo, although some european editions with the same back cover have the edited version of electric co...

Only yesterday I bought the remastered 'Under a blood red sky'  cd/dvd.
I got it for the dvd, to replace my old VHS...well, also to be able to listen to the remastered cd

Still, for audio only I'll probably always grab back to my 'old' cd version since that one has the America/Send in the Clown snippets. I've listened to this cd so many times that it's hard to get used to The Electric co without those.
