More Magnificent
« on: June 18, 2009, 08:32:34 PM »
Not to start yet another thread on Magnificent, but I couldn't tell anymore which of the previous ones this would be more appropriate in.

Masterbeat added another mix on tuesday (the link if you missed it before: https://www.masterbeat.com/#release/u2mag), by Richard Vission. It's twenty cents more than the other tracks, making me wonder if it's an exclusive or something.

I like it, it's really different from the others. (Though I missed the broadcast of the Adam White mix. I'll have to find a radio rip of that).

And to think before these came out that I didn't think Magnificent had much potential for good remixing. Or Crazy Tonight for that matter.

P.S. Call it immature, but I giggle a little at the name "Masterbeat" every time. Come on, there's no way they didn't do that on purpose.

Nice, thanks. And yeah, that name is no accident.

I'm kind of expecting the Richard Vission mix to show up in hard copy. After all, the Adam White mix still hasn't been released in any format, right? Maybe we can expect them on a Crazy Tonight pt. 2 or another humongous remix single.

With all these remixes for every single, I'll stick to the strategy I used with the Magnificent USA single: wait it out until you're 90% sure there won't be another release.

Quote from: Paul Oakenfold
Adam has also mixed the new U2 singles Magnificent (not officially though I'm afraid) but it's already seeing allot of love from the 5 copies he's given to friends in the industry. Armin Van Buuren told us "Amazing Remix".

If you can find a copy of the Adam White Mix for $100 you should probably snag it.  ;)

Ahh, well it's good but if it's not official I'll hold onto my money.
