Anyone heard the radio release? eBay auctions call it an edited version.

Also, any whispers on b-sides for the commercial release?

There are several copies on eBay now, but none of them list the track length.  A couple do confirm that this is a radio edit.

I might buy one, but I'm waiting for the prices to settle down a little.  I'm hearing May 1 for a release date now.

It is indeed a radio edit.  4:21 in length.  Shaves off the long start, and now the vocals kick in at about 20s into the song...

The radio """edit""" is a hatchet job.    A Texas Chainsaw Massacre. Jack The Ripper in the studio. Are they going to actually play this version on the radio? Good Lord.

Yep. I thought they would just get rid of the Eno intro entirely or fade it in or something, but it truly is a hatchet job.

u2tour.de says the 3-track cd and 2-track vinyl will be released May 15, and says nothing about the 2-track cd. Are other sources still saying May 1? Perhaps that's just the date for the 2-track cd. Or perhaps those are all German release dates and May 1 is the UK date.
