first rule of...  ;)

that being said, yeah the permissions are different in 2.0 than before so they got lost in the upgrade - things should be back to normal. a rip of the promo single is already out there, some high quality scans would be nice though.

Been playing a rip of this on my stereo at home and I took it to work to listen even louder on a better system. Don't pre-judge by computer / headphones listening. This is one nasty mix. It's not a "pretty" sound. Love the ending which sounds like Edge or Adam just yank their amp cords out.

The bass line is sooo good. I love the drum opening that just kicks you in the face. Larry is back, baby. This will be killer live.

Coldplay eat your heart out   :D

Good to hear.  Nobody mixes music to be listened to on big speakers anymore; they all have compressed dynamic range for earbud listening.  :P

I still think that the MFSL discs sound better than the new remasters.

Unfortunately, my hi-fi is in storage right now as we're in the midst of a move.  The best I've been able to do with GOYB is blast it in my car.

Spare a thought for those of us who don't even have access to it yet... :-(...

All I have in Oz is the page from U2.com on my lame computer speakers...

They better come to Australia on this tour or... I don't even want to get into what I'd do if they didn't.
