Supposedly Bono is on this album coming out today (Feb 12 2016) and his track is called FLM.

Bono did record something with Swizz Beatz and Kanye years ago for a song that at the time was called Skyscrapers.  It's never shown up.

Early reviews of the album by NME have said that the guest on FLM is The Weeknd.  Where'd the Bono news come from?

I'm approaching this one with caution.  Any reference I see to Bono comes back to something posted on twitter with a supposed track list, and supposed guest list.

But several of the songs on that track list are wrong.  They just aren't on the album, and many songs on the album aren't there.

And the guests are wrong too.  For example on the song "Wolves" it mentions Sia and Rihanna (who were on an early version) but only Frank Ocean is on the final album version.  There's other guests that aren't on the album according to advance reviews.

And I've listed to FML, it is one title the guy got right, it's definitely The Weeknd.  Unless Bono is mixed in there somewhere in the background I don't think it's him...the album streamed yesterday as part of a live performance so many of the songs are "out there"...

I was getting excited too, I could use some new U2 in my life lol.  But I'm not getting my hopes up that he's on there.  Unless you have another source that says he's there, the evidence I could find says he's probably not on that song at least...

The day I have to buy an album from the artist I despise more than any other living human on the planet in order to hear something new from my favorite vocalist on the planet...well, that's going to be a very painful and difficult day for me, LOL. I am tickled beyond all measure that this report is apparently false.

So I'm guessing you didn't line up for tickets when he opened for U2.  :)

It appears this might have been the source for the original track names, and the "B" by "FML" may have lead someone to guess it was Bono?  Or maybe Bono was in there and later taken out?  Hard to say.

I think in Kanye's mind, it was U2 that was opening for HIM.
