Several years ago I bought a used copy of the "version 2" UK CD single of "Who's Gonna Ride Your Wild Horses", which you can see here: http://www.u2wanderer.org/disco/sing031.html. My copy came with the 4 prints, which makes it a little more collectible, and the price was slightly higher as a result.

I'm wondering though, how can I tell that my prints are "genuine"? What I mean is, apparently, according to this website, "far more [copies of the single] were released without the cards than with", so it would be very easy for an unscrupulous person to just "re-print" the prints, and combine them with a copy of the single that didn't originally include the prints, and sell it all off as collectible with a corresponding price-tag. Who knows, maybe that happened to me.

The reason I'm concerned is, I'm thinking of reselling my copy of this single, and since I bought it used myself, how can I be confident that I'm selling a genuine "with-prints" copy to whomever buys it from me and not ripping someone off myself?

Not all versions of the U.K. Digipack had them though.  Versions imported from the UK to Canada for instance were sold without.

I wonder if the prints have any distinguishing feature on the rear.
The prints in my copy are probably genuine - I'm probably just being overly paranoid. They appear well printed, on good card stock. The rear is entirely blank.

yup the back of them was blank.  And it was on card stock.  I do think you're probably thinking about it too much.  The prints being present doesn't raise the price of this one that much.  So probably more to get the card stock and print them etc than you'd get from including them.  If you copy has them, then I'd say you're probably fine...
