Just wondering if I could get some help on the By Song updates of the disco. Would like to bring this section up to date at least, while we continue to look at the next full update to the site. If you have something that is missing from the by song listings currently could you please post it here with a short explanation?!
ie.
I'll Go Crazy (Live Remix) available on the "Artifical Horizon" fan club CD by U2
I think the last cut I did of the By Song listings was in the midst of the Magnificent release, so there may be versions of that missing, Crazy, a few odd side projects, the Radio one compilation, Hope for Haiti...list away and I'll get this section up to date...

Just for clarification, are you looking for missing songs or for missing sources to find songs that may or may not be in the current discography (e.g. the Starbuck's exclusive ALL YOU NEED IS LOVE CD, which features "I Believe in Father Christmas")?

You're missing Magnificent (Richard Vission Mix). That was the one that was exclusive to Masterbeat.com.

Winter - Both the Linear version and the Brothers version are missing.

The tracks from disc 2 of the UF remaster need to be added/updated. You already mentioned the Radio One comp and Stranded.

According to The U2 Encyclopedia by Mark Chatterton it states that "it is believed that Bono played drums on the song Cool American for the 1992 album, Hard by the band Cut To The Chase." That being said, does anyone know if Bono DID or DID NOT do that?

Er, if Bono isn't credited in the liner notes, I'm not sure I would be able to pick out his drumming by listening. ;D

on the "cut to chase" issue, i just wrote a member of that band to ask for clarification. will post when i know more. the original source of that was u2faqs.com - and when we inherited that site it was one of the facts that we always wanted to go back and check but didn't have a way at the time.

Just placed an order for this CD; now the question is "is it the same one?", because the liner notes you posted indicate that a different mix of "Cool American" appears on an alternate edition of HARD.

Actually, the way I read that was that the alternate version appears on a self-titled album, not on a different version of Hard.
