What does this mean?

2007-05-29: News / Releases > U2 have contributed a track to the compilation album, CBGB Forever.  ...  Still no news on whether or not Adam was present at the taping.

Why is there question as to whether or not he was at the taping?  Has he not been involved in recent projects?  Are there reports of him going missing?
