Hi everybody! Does anybody have any information about this release -
U2 - Discotheque David Morales Radio Edit 4:07 promo CD?
It's just a silver pressed CD in a jewel case without inserts. Matrix is - IFPI L792 151384-2W1-7027-A *IR-U2*
I found only one link for it - http://eil.com/shop/moreinfo.asp?catalogid=83789

I have it. I uploaded a scan some years ago to the Yahoo! Collect U2 group. There's no serial number on it. I know that a couple of people on that list said they had it, too, but it's pretty rare - certainly my rarest U2 item.
It's never made it into the Wanderer discography for some reason.

Don't you know which label or studio did this promo make? according to IFPI number it looks like Album Network but i may think wrong... It doesn't look a bootleg....
-
No, it's not a bootleg.
I estimate its value at between $1500 and $1800 US.

Don't know much about U2 collectible's value but I did spit out my Cheerios when I read this.

Well...it's my estimate, since I own it.
I also estimate the value of the Mofo Phunk Force Edit CD to be around $10, since I don't own it but want it.

Hi again! Now i'm sure at 99% that it is Album Network production!
If we look for example at "In the studio" radio show # 542 U2 "Rattle and hum" 10th anniversary , Week of November 9' 1998 produced by Album Network and Bullet production we can see such matrix as - IFPI L791 168504-2W1-8300-A *ITS 542* . It is absolutely identical (and by date of production also) to matrix of Discotheque promo!
I don't understand why they didn't print their copyrights on this promo?

I gotcha. Using your criteria, I estimate that a numbered U2-3, that worthless piece of moldy vinyl, is worth $10. ;)
