I know, I know, don't criticise me...
I just noticed Seconds is Edge lead...
I thought it was Bono...

Yeah, I totally agree. I still have a hard time believing that. Listen to Van Diemen's Land... totally different. Very odd.
-
Yeah they sounded really alike in the early 80s... late 80s to early 90s they were different, then in late 90s they started sounding the same (single version of ISHWILF, etc).
Weird isn't it??

So who's voice is changing?
Bono or Edge?
I've noticed Bono's voice has been changing all the time...but seems Edge's change is even bigger...

Edge sounds frightneningly like bono again on Miracle Drug

The lives?
Who used to sing Seconds when performed live? I have some boots where it sounds like bono, but it also sounds like him on War, so I am not so sure.

The band performed Miracle Drug on CD:UK (I think) and you could see The Edge singing that line while Bono collapsed on the floor and started twitching, as he was neither singing nor playing guitar but needs attention. Another cool revelation is that Larry was singing some of the "ooh ooh whoa whoa"s before that section.
As far I can recall it is The Edge singing most of the vocals and Bono providing some back up for the live Seconds. Watch UABRS. :)

CD:UK? I must be out of touch. What exactly is this?
-
nevermind... found it on u2exit. Well... part of it anyway. Thanks :)

yes, I saw the cduk of miracle drug, but i did read the linear notes on the booklet of htdaab, it says backing vocals by larry and additional vocals by the edge...
that take where larry's singing' doesn't remind you of Red rocks video??

Funny that I never noticed it. To be honest, I have watched that VHS three times, but am usually doing something else (work, working on dissertation, doing dishes, etc). I will watch it this weekend to check it out.
