I Fall Down Red Rocks?
« on: August 13, 2008, 09:21:31 PM »
Was anyone who reads this forum actually present for the Red Rocks show and can verify they saw I Fall Down played?

All the setlists I've seen, including Pimm, say it was. There are audio boots that sure sound like it was...but...

The video bootleg which contains the 5 songs missing from the VHS tape does not have I Fall Down.

The track listing for the official upcoming DVD does not list I Fall Down, although it has the missing 5 tracks.

I've collected more than one audio bootleg from Red Rocks that claimed to be complete but in fact turned out to have tracks from other shows. Which raises some doubts in my mind about the audio for I Fall Down.

Which makes me wonder if it was actually performed?

If it was, why would it be left off the official release?

What I've heard was that it was only partially performed due to rain/technical difficulties... but that's third+ hand from a mailing list.  :)

Easter Egg perhaps?

Thanks. That's the most plausible explanation I've heard.

I Fall Down on the NBC radio show War is Declared. The version from "The Concert" cd is from this radio show.

It's just audio.

Good point about the radio master vinyls. Would love to get my hands on those.

I own a copy of War Is Declared boxset and intend to upload I Fall Down  if its not hidden on the DVD.Although it might be made an itunes exclusive if they were to make it avaliable like "Live In Paris"

I think that's what I have lossless. Could you check my lyrics to verify it's the same as yours?

The DVD booklet says it was a camera malfunction. Which is odd...they used more than one camera.

And I just listened to the director's version for the whole show and he made no mention of that malfunction. And he really went into copious details about everything else.

At 5:49 into the DVD, during Out of Control, in the shot behind Adam's head.... :D
