Title: Live at Red Rocks, or maybe not...
Post by: Brad on October 13, 2005, 11:25:01 PM
I picked up this CD (http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/tg/detail/-/B00028HODQ/qid=1129263428/sr=8-2/ref=pd_bbs_2/103-3450592-9268616?v=glance&s=music&n=507846) today, which is supposedly a collecton of live tracks recorded at Red Rocks.

It is clearly printed on the CD case that Sunday Bloody Sunday was recorded live June 5, 1983.  However, when I got it home and listened to it, the track is identical to the version from Under A Blood Red Sky, which was recorded on August 20, 1983 at St. Goarshausen, Germany.

I guess they thought no one would notice.  Anyway, don't buy this CD thinking it's a different version of SBS.

They even cross-faded the end of the song into the beginning of the next track.
