Hello everybody. I have a doubt. What does Bono says in the .... I put here?? Anyone knows??
Sugar come on, show your soul
You've been keeping your love
Under control
Everywhere you go you shout it
You don't have to be shy about it (.....)
Everywhere you go you (..........)
Oh my, my
In the second line of "everywhere..." I think he continues with something like "Everywhere you go you see..."

What version of OOTS? Studio, DVD, etc?
He did change the lyrics in the live Chicago version - I posted them as they were on the iTunes video (though that has some in song editing, no surprise I suppose).

I refer to the studio version.

I'm not sure if you checked the lyrics here, but this is what I had up before:
You don't have to be shy about it (no)
Everywhere you go you shout it (on high)
I took another listen and the first line still holds true for me, but the second doesn't. I narrowed it down to:
you sing (up high) [this is doubtful]
you show/save (your body) [more of what I hear]
Ended up updating 'show your body' - which as, er, perverse as it sounds actually lines up with Bono's talk of it being about his daughter's feeling uncomfortable about their bodies growing up and perhaps also his somewhat admonishing/bemused/appreciative 'oh my my' after.

The single version seems to me to confirm what's up in the lyrics section and that includes "celerity" and probably "show your body". I don't hear "Come on now" (in either the single or the studio version) in the second line of the following:
Sugar come on
Come on now show your soul
You've been keeping your love under control

I wrote a reply to this but I guess it didn't go through. Gist was I agree with you and don't know how it got in there. :)
