Anyone know whether the version of Elevation on the new Paul Van Dyk comp is just an edit or a different mix? Looks like it's about 90s shorter than the original.
Only $3.99 for the MP3 album on Amazon, but if it's a different mix I'd rather put that toward the CD.

Have a look here:
http://www.tursa.franken.de/PaulVanDyk_discog.html
If you scroll down, almost to the bottom of the page, there's a whole section on U2.
The site was updated in 2006 for the last time, but this guy seems to know everything by Paul van Dyke. He surely must know the answer to your question.
Alternatively you can post your question here:

Please share your findings with us ;)

I picked this up yesterday at Best Buy; they have an exclusive version with a DVD for only $11.99. No U2 content on the DVD, though.
It's a continuous mix, so there's a few extra beats at the beginning of the track. Otherwise just seems like an edit of the Vandit Club mix.

Thank God; I just dropped $30 on the Pete Tong Essentials disc...I need no other strafing runs on my wallet right now.
