Is anyone recording?
Keeping track of what is being aired?
-
I received the email (from Amazon.com) about this U2 Experience. It sounds really interesting, but my schedule just doesn't allow me time for this kind of stuff. If it was something I could download and then listen to later, I would love it.
-
This sounds like something that SHOULD be made available for streaming to U2.com subscribers.
SHOULD.
-
I have it in background, but such a crazy day at work that no way I can focus on what's airring.
-
I know someone who's recording it and I'm sure he will let me know if anything groundbreaking happens. Here's a rundown from amazon.de:
*It's a 6-hour program that will be repeated 4 times
Hour 1:
*A review of 40 years of history of the band
*Interview with Adam Clayton on the concert in New York after 9/11
Hour 2:
*Live recordings incl. songs from the new album
*The Edge talks about how to write great songs
Hour 3:
*The band talks about their first US tour
*Live recordings incl. songs from the new album
Hour 4:
*Live recordings incl. songs from the new album
*The band talks about music as a form of self expression
Hour 5:
*Live recordings from the Joshua Tree Tour (87 or 17? Doesn't say)
*Bono talks about Songs of Experience
Hour 6:
*Politics, sexuality, spirituality-U2 can sing about everything
*Live recordings incl. songs from the new album
*Band talks about their first studio
*Etc...

We'll have an article about it in an hour or so. Only 'exclusives' seem to be the audio version of The Blackout from Amsterdam, and a version of You're The Best Thing (Live from Sao Paulo, October 25). The other "exclusives" are the B-Sides to The Joshua Tree singles we are getting from the fan club.

Omitted between "Stand Up Comedy" and "Walk On": Bad (Live from Birmingham, Nov. 11, 1984) (From "Wide Awake in America")
