A Day Without Me marked the beginning of U2's album promotional
career. It was the first single from the album
Boy.
It also was the first release to feature different songs released in different
markets, as the single available in Ireland and the UK featured a different
track listing than what was featured in France. A Day Without Me
and I Will Follow are both the same version which is found on Boy.
The release also featured different cover art in Germany and the Netherlands.
The cover pictured is the German release. We have received reports
that the version released in the Netherlands features small arrows on either
side of the title on the cover rather than the small circles featured on
the German release but have not seen a scan to confirm this.
