This compilation was put together by British and Irish artists to "focus on strength and hope in the face of adversity." The profits from the album were put towards the benefit of the youth of Northern Ireland.

U2's contribution to this album is a recording of Lou Reed's Satellite of Love as performed live in Dallas Texas on 1992's Zoo TV tour. As was the case with each Zoo TV show, Bono duets with Reed via a pre-recorded video wall featuring Reed.

The recording featured artists doing cover songs. All the songs had been performed by other artists previously.  Satellite of Love was performed at both Dallas concerts in 1992, April 5th and October 16th, if someone can confirm which date this recording came from we would appreciate a note.
