OTHER NOTES
This compilation was put together by Greenpeace for funding Greenpeace campaigns and infrastructure. The album was released on vinyl only under the name "Breakthrough" in Russia. It sold a reported 500,000 copies in Russia on the day of release, and went on to sell over 3 million copies.  The compilation was released some months later in the rest of the world under the name "Rainbow Warriors".  This re-release included two additional tracks on the vinyl and cassette and featured a slightly different play list. The CD release featured an additional four tracks in most areas, except in Canada where a fifth track was added as well.

The album was distributed on different labels in different countries.  It was released on BMG / RCA throughout the world except in North America (Geffen Records), Ireland (Mother Records), Italy (Durium Records), Scandinavia (Sonet Records), New Zealand (WEA), India (CBS) and Russia (Melodyia).
