In 2003 the Rock 'N' Roll Hall of Fame and Museum opened
a three floor exhibit dedicated to two decades of U2. This display
ran for the entirety of 2003, and was visited by many fans from around
the world. The opening night of the exhibit, February 9, 2003, had
a press event prior to the opening of the exhibit itself. This event
allowed photography of the exhibit, something which was not allowed during
the remainder of it's run in Cleveland.
Those attending the exhibit were given a press kit. The press
kit was contained in a Hall of Fame folder. Inside the folder was
a press release covering the new exhibit "In the Name of Love", and information
on the museum and museum programs. Also included was a CDR of 6 images
from the exhibit in various formats. These images are copyright the
Rock and Roll Hall of Fame and Museum, and are replicated here with permission:
Aaron Sams and Kim Tucker attended the press opening on behalf of U2 Wanderer,
and documented the visit to the exhibit with additional photos available
here. |
