| Melissa Etheridge was signed to Island Records, and some
stories place Bono at the club with Chris Blackwell the night she was signed
to Island. When it came time to record her second album, Brave and
Crazy, Bono stopped in at the recording studio and contributed harmonica
to "Royal Station 4/16". He is credited in the liner notes for harmonica,
and it doesn't specifically mention this was the song he played on, but
it is the only one in which the harmonica can be clearly heard. |
